Penang: Sunset at Batu Ferringhi Beach

Welcome to the end of the first day of my Penang Trip.. :)

After visiting so many places (Seafood DimSum, Fort Cornwallis 1 + 2, Kek Lok Si Temple 1 + 2, and the Water Dam) and so many funny things in between ( Big2, Holy Water), we finished the day off at the Batu Ferringhi Beach.

Luckily, we're arrived in time before the sun sets.

There were lots of water activities on the beach and the fellas got their eyes on this... Since the girls didn't brought any additional clothes and this is the only dry activity there..

And so our gliders got in their equipments and ready to go..

and they're go.. one by one...
I didn't went for the para-gliding as I need to take pretty photos of them in the sky...
Okay, there's other reason...

Where will my face and pride be, if my fella cats friends found out I'm saved by a Life "Dog" Guard. A cat saved by a dog @@

Honestly, its too expensive for a poor guy liked me to play.

When they got down from the sky, they were just in time for the sunset. This is my first time taking photos of a sunset using my 400D. :) so if not nice don't kill me ar, but comments and critics are very welcome. Hehe

The girls are addicted to the Jumping shots previously. Now they wanna do another sunset silhouette version one. And here they go again.. =.= not tired 1 meh?

I, myself playing with the sun instead.

Wakakaka, the power of the sun in the palm of my hand!!! Now, who dares disobeyed me??!! *syok sendiri* (self-excited).

Anyway, anyone out there wanna buy this sun? So I can get myself either a lens, a flash or maybe a domain for miao. :P Hehehe

Phew, at last, after 5 weeks, I managed to finish my first day of Penang trip. :P

8 people fed miao :3:

the sunset shots were good, but a little unusual ahahaha...
most people (note the choice of word, most) would choose daylight WB setting to bring out the intensity of the orange-red cast. Of course, feel free to break the norm, and shoot at your own preference.

Of course you guys are on the rush since it was a tour, but shooting long after the sun has set, can give VERY dramatic shots !!! but u will need a tripod lah... to play with long shutters. which is impractical since u guys are on travel ahahahahha.. just something to keep in mind !!

@nic
hahaha even the cartoon look better eh?

@robin
hahaha I see I see..

Hahah..I think I kinda different gua.. I always like the purple, blue and red of a sunset sky..

I see i see.. thanks for the tips.. I will take note of it.. :)

Oyah, they said that there's a glimpse of a bright moment after a sun had set..

but that day I couldn't see any.. :( They say that moment is very pretty to shoot at..

Do you know when is that moment?
